Über mich
I was born in summer 1958 in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.
After finishing High School and studies in German Philologie, History of Art, Journalism and Science of Communication in Göttingen/Germany I went to Tehran/Iran, living there for a long time, getting in deep touch with the people, their values and standards, their society and culture.
This changed my view on life, fundamentally, still having a strong influence on my artwork.
The acquaintance of great Iranian artists caused that, I was painting more seriously than before.
I have been drawing and painting since my childhood and always been creative in many fields as Graphic, Product, Architectural, Interior, Jewellery Design and Illustration.
My first Group Exhibition "Heaven & Earth", together with Noushin Fouroutan, took place 2008 in Tehran, another one, titled "Ambivalence“ with Iranian Artist & Cartoonist Said Nouruzi, 2020 in Munich.
My Solo Exhibitions "Identity" and "Reflection" I organized in September 2021 and April 2022 in Munich and Tehran, showing in my paintings the variety, complexity and intensity of different emotions, characters and personalities.
It is very important to me to enable the viewer to be aware of their own part within the theme of my paintings, therefore, I prefer a more ambiguous depiction in it.
Writing lyrics and fairytales also takes part of my creativity, but painting is my passion, my healing, my joy, my love.
Since 2012 I live and work with children in a leading position in Munich/Germany.
Über meine Kunst
About my paintings is to mention that, they mostly arise in a very intuitive way, revealing personal and female subjects.
My partly ambiguous depiction of scenes, expressions and gesturings leads back to my fascination regarding different interpretations of one situation, always reflecting everybody's own personality.
